Aside from Windows 7 Home Group connections, IPv6 isn't yet prevalent in the home market
And the last time there was a real buzz about IPv6 was back in June.
Considering the above, it is understandable new versions of firewall software may not yet have it implemented.
However, since many competitors are providing IPv6 protection,
and IPv6 does provide a vector for malware exploits,
it's good news to hear Avast will be covering this area.
Two remaining questions:
1. Is IPv6 Protection a feature that definitely will be added in the next build, or is it more a "maybe" ?
2. Will it provide protection for the entire IPv6 stack or just simply Teredo?
For me, and maybe numerous others, the lack of IPv6 protection is what has prompted me to stay with Avast AV and Windows Firewall.
Once IPv6 is added you will gain more of my business as I will then be willing to purchase your full suite product....
