autosandbox has poor communucation ?
« on: February 24, 2012, 02:47:58 AM »
Would it not be better if autosandbox said why it was rejecting an .exe ?

I work as a developer and the autosandbox keeps popping up but just says the file is suspicious.
It could be the file is not signed or the file is new so filerep bombs out.
It would be useful to know why.

Well, you have your nose on the 2 most likely causes already.

Dig. signing of course is obvious how to deal with.

File Rep.,  there is nothing you can do about that if you are making your own software or it is not widely distributed.  If it has no reputation, it has a good chance of being considered suspicious.  That is what Avast!'s myriad of exclusion options are for.
Signature?  But I gots no pen....

Prevalence and emergence of the files are FileRep topics. Exclusion is the solution.
