Please help. Avast! Antivirus Autosandbox kills explorer.exe

Hello, I have been using Avast for a long time now.
However, after the new update, Avast has started to think explorer.exe is suspicious, and it automatically puts explorer.exe in the sandbox.
This causes my computer to crash. How do I stop Avast from autosandboxing explorer.exe?

Where explorer.exe is located (path)?
Can you boot in safe mode, made a copy of explorer.exe file to a safe place and submit it to www.virustotal.com ?
