I've been meaning to ask something related (I may have overlooked it being asked before, if so I apologize). Is the local avast program *supposed* to maintain a *truly* persistent connection to the avast cloud? Say the user's system is idling. They aren't running some new program, opening some new file, visiting some new URL, etc. Lets assume assume the system just received the latest streaming update. Will the local avast program maintain a persistent TCP connection to the avast cloud when there is (that I can think of, feel free to correct) nothing to do for awhile?
