did you try a clean install ?
remove the old with this and reboot  http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
install avast 7 and reboot

Yes, initially I tried to update and fond my system slow don and stop response.

I made de-installation by means of aswclear.exe, reboot, then clean install Avast7.
System worked few minutes and stacks again.

How to roll-back to avast 6? Otherwise I have to looking for alternative antivirus program. it would be a pity as I use Avast number of years...

Beware that you would need to select the version you want, and then select the mirror to download from. The main download link for the latest previous version 6.0.1367 is incorrect.

Yes, the Green down arrow will actually give you v7 again.  FileHippo must have gotten the links mixed up when version 7 came out.  See image below:
