Quote from: div_dib on February 28, 2012, 12:24:09 PMFacing same problem as previous one!!!!!!!!!!!!! Error Code 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On contrary, as it is said there, error codes 2 and 11 are sign that you don't have the update problem and things are working.
See here Tech http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=94514.msg753239#msg753239 updated fix is supposed to cure the error 2 and 11 now hopefully
If the machine is not affected by this particular problem, the tool will report so (usually with error code 2 or 11) and won't do anything. If you did not experience any problems updating the virus definitions in the past 24 hours, just ignore this tool - there's no point in running it.

C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\Setup\part-setup_ais-57f.vpx
Please locate the file Code: [Select]C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\Setup\part-setup_ais-57f.vpx and upload it to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming (You can just open the mentioned FTP url in Windows Explorer and drag&drop the mentioned file there.)Thanks.
div_dib: at this point, if theres still a problem with updating, u might want to try generating a support package and upload here for Avast! engineers to look
