avast not blocking my sites

avast free 7 is not blocking any sites i put under the website blocking. i spelled them all correctly but they won't block.

Site blocking is working fine on my machine. Are you entering full URLs or site names? Just so you know you have the URLs entered correctly, try copying and pasting them from your browser address window.

Are they https?  Site blocking does not work for those.

I just started having this same issue.. sites that WERE being blocked.... have simply stopped being blocked, and no, they are not https.

Was something changed during the last update?

No, I did not change ANYTHING since installing Avast.
