Is this possible using any tools (such as for avast32) for local virusdef updates for avast! 4.x Home clients?

I'm sorry, but I can't understand exactly what you mean...
Is this perhaps what you are looking for?

If I understand you correctly, the ADNM is what you are looking for.

ADNM works only with managed avast! versions.  I need to make local storehouse of anti-virus bases, from which clients avast! Home can take updating

Why not download the latest vps and use that to update the clients?

I work in the ISP-company (MAN) and we would like to give this service for our clients who use the free-of-charge version avast! Home. It is necessary, that updating would occur automatically, irrespective of connection to the Internet because subscribers do not understand necessity of regular updating of anti-virus bases.

Only the Pro version (and network edition) supports push updates.

Really? I have written about it above. >:(

I do not need push-updating.
I am interested with the answer from developers.

akirill,

mirroring is available only on PRO/ADNM versions. I don't see any gain for your customers to get the updates directly from you anyway. The speed is not an issue even on slow connection (and believe me, I know what is _slow_ connection  :D)

Hi, kubecj!

Speed of connection good - 100 Mbit. But connection with the Internet is carried out manually, through PPPoE. If the user some days was not connected to the Internet he will have old anti-virus bases. If personal use free-of-charge why to not make and updating free-of-charge?

Updating for the home version is already free.

As soon as a connection is made Avast is checking for updates.
