Avast 4.5 Home configuration advice

 ??? Hello,
I would like to know how I can configure the blocker and advanced sections of the Standard Shield provider in Avast Home, so that the programme can be more effective.

I suggest you read the help/manual.
start > programs > Avast > help

It is explained there. Take some time to make yourself familiair with all options/settings Avast is offering the user.

If I were you, I won't change these settings before you know what you're doing.
If you want to tweak avast, click on Settings in my signature  ;)
