Slow scan

Why is the new 1426 so slow in scanning?. I scan 3 times #1 took 17:55 the second 16:55 and #3 took16:55.
Isn't this slow for a quick scan?

My Quick Scan takes about 13 minutes for over 50000 files and 47,7 GB. For me, the Quick Scan is faster as in older versions.

Scanning?  Wut dis scanning ting?  :o

sorry could not resist, I just think scanning is for the most part a waste of time


To be more serious, if you just updated, some cache might need to be repopulated.   Also, scanning times can increase/decrease with definition updates, not just program updates, so it might just be coincidental.

edit: also, 13 mins. is still well within what I would consider "quick"  ;)
