Upgrading Avast 7
« on: March 04, 2012, 06:19:13 PM »
I just received my box copy of Avast Pro. Since I already have Avast Free on my computer, where can I put the key I got into the Avast Free to upgrade it?

I already registered under the free license, and the "Register Now" button has disappeared and the the only one left is the "Insert Avast Pro/Internet Security license file". Do I have to re-activate my license, and how would I do that?

Will this help?

Inserting the license key into: avast! Free Antivirus, avast! Pro Antivirus and avast! Internet Security.

I'm appreciate your help but it still doesn't work.  How can I re-activate my license with the IS key without unistalling and re-installing the program?

I already registered under the free license.
Free or paid.
You're in a non consistent situation.
Maybe download the paid version setup and run it over the existing installation.
