The right time to download the new version is only AFTER it is officially announced, e.g. here. Thanks a lot for your limitless patience. It should happen anytime soon, e.g. today.

The next possible solution to this problem is keep clicking the update button for an hour or two. Once I had a joystick for the ATARI computer and it had a wonderful feature - auto fire, it kept clicking the fire button. With some search I bet they do the same with mouses, these days. Just my personal suggestion, nothing official.
