hello,
sorry about my english
i am running with snowleopard 10.6.8 and window7 emuled with parallels desktop.
After a bug I had to install again avast.
All seems to be OK but i don't have anymore the avast window when clicking on avast icon.
Avast speak to me time to time as before, but no more window...:-((

hey and welcome to the forum.

are you sure avast is running in the first place?

I suggest you try a repair of avast and see it that could solve the problem.
start- control panel- add/remove program- avast. hit the remove button when the screen comes up choice the option repair.

If this does not solve it try a clean installation of avast.

download the latest version of avast from avast.com
download and run the uninstall tool for avast reboot

clean any left over files with ccleaner.

install the latest version of avast you downloaded.

registry the program
