Avast AIS a/v updates
« on: March 17, 2012, 01:12:23 AM »
I am doing a manual update as the last definition was 120315-1, on updating it tells me I already am up to date with def 120316-1, but on the summary screen I see a red 120315-1, it does not seem to accept the latest definition?

Reboot, if that doesn't resolve it - Try a repair of avast:
XP - Add Remove programs, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.

You may need to reboot after the repair.

This has in the past resolved this out of sync issue between reported and actual VPS version.
