Mobile user guide download illegible in Safari?

Has anyone else had this problem. When I download files.avast.com/files/documentation/mobile-security-user-guide-en.pdf, the graphics are fine but the text is totally blurred. Guide downloads fine ion my android phone HTC desire. However, when I copy across to my iMac the text is still blurred in Preview.
Having insructions on my phone wont be much user if its stolen! Any suggestions
