Avast problem update Database.

Hello I install Avast in Linux Ubuntu and when I try to update  give me this messge error: ¨Avast Error: An error occured in Avast engine: Invalid argument¨ and now  Avast does not run anymore, I download from this URL: http://www.avast.com/linux-home-edition, please if somebody can help me thanks in advance.

Hello Tech, the solution mention in this UR: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=57775.msg486945#msg486945 I try it and the problem is not fix, Avast is not running.

I want to uninstall Avast but can not uninstall, How can I uninstall Avast?.
