I installed Avast! Free AV yesterday (version 7.0.1426) yesterday and did a complete scan and then scheduled a boot-time scan. After restarting my computer, the BIOS info was displayed and then the screen stayed black with a couple of lines in different colors. There was a lot of disk activity so I assume the boot-time scan was being performed but there was no info displayed on the screen. Is this normal?
