False positive?

Just wanted to make sure that I did'nt have malware. So uh, avast system shields blocked  Win32:Malware-gen. BUT, it was from a very legit program known as steam! The process was SteamService.exe by the way.

have you tested the file at Virustotal ?
have you sendt file to avast lab ?

How may I upload the file to virustotal? Also,Avast? EDIT: Virus total detected 0/0 so Im sure its a false positive.
