Avast Virus Update problem
« on: March 28, 2012, 08:03:20 PM »
System has been working great since I got rid of yogi and reinstalled Avast Internet Security in safe mode with networking, then removed all traces of yogi and changed start up config.
However, this morning, when I booted,  :-\ I did not get a virus update, checked maintenance and sure enough there was a new version, but would not update.  Went to networking and had 2 strange IP addresses for avastupdate.  I rebooted, and avast did the update, but now I have some strange stuff on my file system.
Anyone got any ideas?  TY in advance! :o

Don't think that there is any problem, but just in case: What does "some strange stuff" mean..??
