Web shield causes iexplorer to hang in task manager

Are there any settings in the web shield to fix this? I'm using v. 7.0.1426

I take it you mean when IE is opened ?

If it is the above - How do you know it is the web shield ?
Until IE has started the web shield shouldn't be an issue as there is no web http traffic for it to monitor.
