Hi @mchain.

Yup — same as the first screenshot.

BTW, MS Paint is showing EOL notice upper right blue circle with an exclamation mark "Product Alert".

Not sure what you mean by this (or how relevant it is)?  I never use MS Paint or the Microsoft Store (I'm on Win7).

Is this some other Avast product that I don't use?

HDCleaner 1.133

https://kurtzimmermann.com/index_d.html

I tried the 32bit version on this XP System, I didn't think it as comprehensive as ccleaner.  I have also found an adverse action in the (default) cleanup all of my folder view settings were set back to defaults.

I normally have file based folders set to View Details these ended as view Tiles, my image based folders I view as thumbnails, etc. etc. This was a pain in the backside setting them back to my choice.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

We'll scrap that one then, Privacy Eraser on the other hand has been working flawlessly for me, only two annoying faults I've found is the UAC popup when opening Privacy Eraser and Win10 store Apps aren't listed in the installed programs which I've sent them a bug report on.

If you dare ;) CCleaner v5.44.6575 check for pre-ticked applications (Chrome or Avast) when installing.

Mind you, saving that cookie had no effect one one system here, Ad's are still displayed everytime CCleaner is opened, and on another system Ad's aren't being display at all, with or without the cookie ::)

The new update also replaced the AvastAdSDK in the registry which I've now stripped from two systems so far for further testing.

You have probably already deleted it if you've run CCleaner since installing, straight after install it should be listed in cookies to be removed.
