Svchost Process Analyzer

Svchost.exe is the most mysterious process in Windows XP/Vista. Svchost.exe is a generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs). The authentic svchost.exe file is located in C:\Windows\System32, but numerous viruses and trojans use the same file and process name to hide their activities

Thanks for the link, YoKenny.  That's good information to be able to get. Sysinternals Process Explorer provides this information too.  Either through the tooltip for each svchost, or the Services tab in an individual svchost's properties popup. If you already have Process Explorer, you're all set.

I've had a lot of practice.

I thought it a good find as it was easy to understand however Process Explorer does provide the same info but has too much info for just a quick process peek.
