Chrome 13.0.782.215 (Stable Channel Update)
http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/2011/08/stable-channel-update_22.html
Chrome does not remove old updates to itself and have to removed manually.

Check in C:\Documents and Settings\(Your ID)\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application folder for older updates.
Mine had 92.4MB for the old 13.0.782.112 update.

Really?  good to know. I must have a lot then.

Well, if you use secunia psi, this old version exe in the folder triggers it.
It only indicates it is insecure!

Free Download Manager 3.8 has now "graduated" from Beta to RC, probably its biggest improvement is compatibility with Firefox 6 to 8 inclusive.  You can now ditch FlashGot, if like me you only used that to get FDM running properly.  http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

Intel Atom D2700, 2 gig RAM, Win 7 x64 SP1 & IE-11, Firefox 51.0
(default). 320 gig HD, 15Mb DSL, Win firewall, Avast 12.3.2280 free, SpywareBlaster, MBAM Prem., Crypto-Prevent

• EMD - sites engaged in malware distribution
This classification is assigned to website's engaged in the distribution of malware (e.g. adware, spyware, trojans and viruses etc).

Sites with this classification typically either contain files (e.g. cracks, keygens, adware, spyware, trojans, viruses et al) or lead to such via (for example) "fake scanners" or other social engineering and misleading tactics. This includes the activities of rogue Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that host other sites to which the EMD classification applies.

WOT rates it as clean. VirusTotal rates it as clean and WebRep gives it an average rating.
This isn't the first time that host file bucks the usual trend.

The last version for Win98/ME users is 3.7 RC1 build 956 (June 7, 2011). The Flash module works properly with Firefox 3.6.20 and is much lighter than FlashGot. This version also integrates with Opera 10.52 and OGet for non-Flash downloads.

YoKenny,
You can take it up with him but please do it in a different thread,
this one is supposed to be for updates not discussions.  :)

Chrome 13.0.782.215 (Stable Channel Update)

Chrome does not remove old updates to itself and have to removed manually.

Mine had 92.4MB for the old 13.0.782.112 update.
It only keeps the most recent past version and deletes everything else.  Probably a good practice if you ever would need to roll back versions.

I do not understand why there is always a delay with the slim build.
