Released a update for HiLoA (HijackThis Log file analyzer)
Version 2-1

- Fixed a bug in the admin util. (Database wasn't closed when going from adding items to the menu)
- Added detections (200+ added!) and descriptions.

Released a update for HiLoA (HijackThis Log file analyzer)
Version 2-2

- Fixed a bug when checking for IE version on XP systems.
- Added detections and descriptions

DOWNLOAD LOCATION

You can now put items on ignore by replacing the status code in strings.dat to a "I" (capital letter i)
This is just a temporary workaround.
A later version will have this option in the admin util.

I know replies here are frowned upon, but ...

a-squared update

I must say a very strange update  ??? (please see the screenshot)

I haven't yet gotten around to trying a-squared, so I'm not familiar with its "mechanics".  Do they normally update incrementally, similar to the way avast! does?

And if so, maybe this time around for some reason they did a whole new set of defs from scratch?  Was it an unusually large and long download?
