Thanks for that, essexboy!    :)

I did not try beta1 but I do like this beta2. IE7 seems to be working faster and the look of it is nice.    :)

IE7 beta 2 now available for public download,  beta 1 was OK http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/ie7/default.mspx
I installed it and then found out that all the links in my e-mail referred me to the folder in which MailWasher was setup.
Apparently there is an incompatability with IE7 and Mailwasher.....

I do not have Mailwasher but ......

I have found out that while using Earthlink web mail and I try to add addresses to a new email, the little popup box now requires that I log-in again to web email in order to get the addresses to show up in the popup box. Otherwise, adding addresses works the same. I guess this is caused by the added IE7 security but just a bit of a hassle to have to do.    :(

I don't think so, AvastForever.

At no time did it tell me to un-install the old version nor did I. Perhaps the installation did that automatically or maybe it installed over IE6.

I have XP Home SP2. This is what it said."IE Installation did not complete". "IE could not be install". "Please take a look at the logs in your system directory".
