Actually Ad-Aware can't find anything either, just some stupid cookies that I really don't even mind seeing there.

It's SpywareBlaster that keeps everything clean and also most important thing, common sense. Do not browse stupid web sites.

Edit: I didn't say Spybot is bad, I simply don't need it... there is no use of sitting in my system and literally doing nothing for the last two years.

Actually I don't use Spybot currently too (I've posted the update just for info), I currently use a-squared Anti-Malware (the one with the Resident Scanner) and I must say it's quite good (better than Spybot, according to my opinion). But sometimes Spybot catches some old stuffs that the others miss  :)

All these things are already covered (and when I say covered, I really mean it) by SpywareBlaster (silent you don't even know it's installed and even better, it doesn't run in your background), and as far as TeaTimer goes, it's well known that it causes some problems on some system configurations.

Totally agree, the only other anti-spy I have on my system is MS Defender and that is purely to protect my host file ( I don't like the host file download blocker  thingy, the MSVP one)

Not to mention killing the avast icon on occasion.

There is no way it can slow down your computer in any way. Simply because it never runs in the background. It's actually completely shut down all the time. You just need to take care of updates (manually) and SpywareBlaster will do the rest. It will even give you a note that you don't have to minimize its window, but completely close it (shut down). Even it's not running in your background, SpywareBlaster still protects you. There are many threads in this forum covering how it really works.

All I can say is, you will never regret installing it.  ;)
