Adobe Flash Player Update 11,8,800,175 is out.

http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Isn't that just for the IE, activeX one (avast software updater reports the firefox one .168 as up to date), I downloaded both the IE and plugin based versions and the plugin version was still at .168.

I just downloaded it again from the https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and that still shows .168 as the version. The above site indicates that this is correct, looks like only the IE activeX one has been updated this time round.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Yes the It's the IE version that was released on the 24th of september, the non IE version is still .168 that was released on the 11th of September.

As for the recent confusion about the Adobe Flash Player updates.

Release Notes: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1300160?tstart=0

My two cents.
That's the reason why I believe users should always post both the release notes/changelog  (and looking for them before posting) and the official download links.

I had no problems getting the right update using the avast! Software Updater tool. :)

Actually the IE plugin was updated twice. I got a notice about an update last week sometime and it said on the page that it was the .175 version. I had the .168 and when I downloaded and installed the update, I had .174. Now I updated again and I have .175.
