Ask Avast to scan Windows Live Mail box

I have Avast free installed (Doesn't say which version Help/About)

I strongly suspect I have a virus on my email (just rec'd 3 suspicious emails)

Does Avast still scan emails? (old versions used to but cant see 'email' mentioned on current one)

Can I get Avast to do a manual scan of specific emails (these dodgy ones) or all email messages


PS - Will I be expected to decipher a verification code for every post i make???

how do you access and read your mail ?
