Deactivate the license before uninstalling ?

I want to remove Avast from a old laptop I'm using and install on a new laptop I'm buying. Do I need to deactivate the license so I can install the program on another computer?

Because my license allows me to install the program on three computers it would seem that I would have to do that. Although I do not see a deactivate funtion in the program.

No just transfer the licence across and delete the programme from the old one
