Have you tried the forum search and checked that avast isn't muted in the sound driver ?

Other than that I'm at a bit of a loss as the avast sounds work on my win7 32bit netbook.

I have a friend using Avast in Danish language. She doesn't get any voice.
If you are nor running Avast in English, please try and change to English language.

i uninstall avast then reinstall it back again and this time i have voice :) but pop up still no :(
