I guess I'm asking what the real purpose is of the first "quick scan"?
I checked twice and the same thing happened.
The virus database used for the first quick scan right after the install was using 120306-0. Update wasn't until about 2 minutes after the finish of the install and after that first scan.
Seems a little odd, no?
Maybe the first scan is sort of a test scan, but indicating "test" scan might give a wrong impression? Just wondering.
