You want to subscribe to the avast iavs so that you get an email sent to you when new definitions are released?

Tried subscribing my email address as well and i got an error too.  I believe the website may have a broken link or there is an internal problem at avast.com
I would peobably just try again later as it will probably be fixed at some point.

There is an error on the new website. Subscription service is currently not working.

I thought the subscription are only for push updates that is only for the Professional version

No,you can subscribe to update notification even if you don't use PUSH (avast! HE). You just get mail,but nothing is updated.
Something like newsletter.
