Learn All Software

Is there a way to get Avast to "learn" all of the software on a computer so it will not block anything ?

Installing avast on a fresh installation, plus a fresh installation of ImgBurn, VLC Media Player, Gimp and some others... Avast freaks out the first time we run these programs and pups up the sandbox dialogue.  Is there a way to automatically get it to recognize everything on a computer so it does not block them.  Manually adding exceptions is not the desired method, unless that data is a file that can be migrated to other computers (registry settings or data file)

Unfortunately not, from the auto sandbox popup you can use the drop down to tell it to open normally in the future, once avast gets enough information about each of those programs they'll then not be detected but i would have thought that VLC Player would have already been on there whitelist being such a popular program ???

checked vlc latest version by installing it. (v2.0.1 Twoflower)

no pop-up from avast autosandbox.

if u use any specialised tools, the only way is to add them manually to exclusions for autosandbox to prevent pop-up messages.

it should not produce any pop-up analysis for popular programmes like ccleaner.

edit 1:  ImgBurn v2.5.7.0, gimp v2.6.11 installers did not produce autosandbox pop-ups too. (i ran the installers but did not install the programmes)

Its not the installer that does it, you can install it fine. On the first run of the programs is where the sandbox kicks in.
