Turn off Software Updater
« on: April 18, 2013, 01:39:55 PM »
It is encouraging me to update Flash to the new version which has issues with the ULive player used to broadcast online sports.  Adobe is aware of this and hopefully will fix it soon.

Go to the software updater and on the same line as flashplayer select "more details" and then "ignore this entry" or something like that. (I don't remember exactly because I uninstalled the the updater in my program)

Not knowing which version of avast you are using, 1483, 1484 beta or 1485 beta.
If you are using 1484 or 1485 you can toggle the SU on or off see screenshot.

Thanks very much, I have done that.  I don't think I need my antivirus to keep track of updates other than antivirus.
