script error

When avast is running in the sys tray, I got to start it up (bring up the interface) and I get the page that has the check box to not show the page on startup anymore. ( the simple user interface instruction page). Anyway, i click the box to not show it anymore and I get a script error. the page shows up every time i start the interface.
And suggestions? a reg hack that can change that setting or something?

Edit the avast4.ini file, in "C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA" make a copy first and store it elsewhere just in case you mess up. Use a text editor, such as notepad for the edit.

In the [Simple] section, set the value below to:
ShowHelpCheckList=1
(If it is already 1 try changing it to 0.)
