loadord.exe

Is it a debugger?
No (well to me it doesnt) It's a load order program by sysinternals, and it looks like it tells you what loads in order for drivers and services.  :)

Hey, just wondering if anyone has figured anything out yet.  I'm getting very frustrated with this computer.

I have almost the same problem, but I get an error message, not the BSOD.  Avast! just crashes (on shutdown), not everytime but very often.
I use WinXP SP2, Avast! Home Edition 4.5.561.

Can you try if disabling the Net Shield provider the system works... or, even, uninstalling this provider (Control Panel > Add/Remove > Remove and choose 'Change' option in the pop-up window).

do NOT disable any providers if you didnt get a BSOD because they were not a cause. Look up unp* files in avast4\data directory - do their file creation date correspond to your errors when they occured ?

Hmmm.... There are no such files in Avast4\Data directory.
