The weird thing is there IS no driver name listed.  What I posted earlier is EXACTLY what the BSOD says.

So there's neither a \windows\minidump folder nor a file \windows\memory.dmp after the crash?

How much free disk space do you have on the system partition?

Thanks
Vlk

would it be worth checking the event viewer?

Was that a question? If so - then yes, the crash should've been logged to the Event log (System category). But the entry won't contain much info either... to analyze the crash, a dump (at least a minidump) file would be needed...

Yeah there is no minidump folder or .dmo files anywhere on my computer.  I don't see anything in the event viewer about the crash.  All there is is warnings about the internet and errors about a boot-start or system-start driver failing to load along with all the information logs.  Oh and I have 138 GB free on my hard drive.

So your System properties look something like this?

Thanks

Pretty much except I don't have it set to autmatically restart. And the Default operation system says "Microsoft Windows XP Home Edtion" /fastdetect /No Execute=OptIn. Not that it matters, but that's what's different

XQueenOfPainX: Have you moved the paging file to another drive or partition (from boot drive) ?

I only have one hard drive and it's not partitioned.

Good point pk.
XQueenOfPainX, what are your Page file settings?

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Performance Settings -> Advanced -> Virtual Memory -> Change.

Look at the screenshot from my system, for example...

Thanks

@ XQueenOfPainX

are you running a pre-configured  machine?  Something like a laptop with "one button recovery" perhaps??
