How do I remove the virus...Win32:Trojan-gen(Other)?
It is in the Avast Virus Chest.
This is my first time on the Forum. I hope I did it right.

What OS?
What file is detected as infected?
What is the original location of the file?

I deleted it from my virus chest. My last scan was ok. I do not know too much about the computer, but keep trying to learn. (will be 70 in April)
I guess I made the mistake of trying to download spy checker.

Be carefull what spy-/adware remover you are using. (INFO)

I suggest you only use Ad-Aware, Spybot s&d and HijackThis or one of the others that I mention on my website (WEBPAGE)

And make sure you have a firewall. Either a router with build in one (+/- 35 Euro) or a software one.
