Here seems to be working (firewall on "deny selected" mode and all system/grouped applications allowed, i.e., not checked).
Samsung Galaxy Nexus running Google stock 4.0.4 ROM.

I don't like "deny mode". And moreover if check deny apps it's much more difficult because them're too much.

So you prefer the "allow mode"...

Hi,

I just checked and there is a bug in Firewall - Download Manager "application" is not being displayed. If you go to Application Management, find Download Manager and enable its access there, it should work (works for me).

The "deny mode" adds new applications as fully allowed, which makes things easier to test new software :)

When will this be fixed?  On my SGS2 both download manager and google services framework are not listed in the firewall section.

AFAIK it is not a bug in the firewall, depends on which linux core is installed on the device; on some devices is Google Framework, MTM server and DRM manager hidden for some good reasons - we will update our FAQ very soon (may be there are updated now) and there is an section for this problem (how to handle firewall in deny mode).
