« on: May 04, 2012, 09:59:18 PM »
is "test whole files" on by default in any of the shields, i want to know because i'm thinking of turning this feature off in both my web & IM shield's to improve performance.
does turning this feature off make a big difference to the security?

It isn't on by default especially in the web & IM shield. I would let it activated in this 2 shields. I don't think it makes much difference in performance because there are not so big files to be scanned by these 2 shields.

If you mean in the sensitivity settings / test whole files then no that isnt ticked by default.
