I would be cautious about Panda for a different reason.

I frequently check out AV software to see if I want to switch.  (I have three machines at home, and am more or less responsible for another few.)  A few months ago, I decided to once again to try Panda.  I couldn't even get it to install properly on my main - admittedly old - machine, so I decided to forget about it.  I started getting email warnings that my trial copy was about to expire.  Fair enough.  But I kept getting promotional emails from them even well after the expiration, and even after I went through their multistage unsubscribe procedure a few times.

It is now clear that I will be on their mailing list forever.  To get spammed by a well known computer security vendor is unnerving.

Good luck.
C.

0.8 % matters a lot when you have large no samples.

+1

The graph shows Panda has 98.6%, while avast scores 98.0% in a 300k sample test.

The difference is only .6%

So Basically the sample test Panda has the advantage of thousands detection over Avast.

Conclusion Im loyal to Avast . 8)

Some people seem to forget that there is a difference between a sample test and, the every day usage test.

I use my computer every day and my system is clean and secure protected by avast!7
It's the every day usage test that really matters.  :)

I haven't been using it long enough to talk about it's efficacy, but my initial impressions are extremely positive. I'm using it alongside my primary A/V, Avast free, along with the Comodo Firewall and it runs so quietly in the background you'd never know it was there. I love Avast, but haven't always felt as secure as I'd like.

Regardless of what is said in this cnet comment, there are plenty of anecdotal evidence to the contrary.

So the recommendation not to run two resident AVs isn't recommended, I believe that is even on the Panda site where they uninstalling your existing AV.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Can I run Cloud Antivirus alongside my Norton360/AVG/Etc.?

No you can’t, just as you can’t (or shouldn’t) run two or more different antivirus programs at the same time. The Cloud Antivirus installer identifies a large number of AV programs and will stop the installation if it detects one running. However there are reports of some users that have been able to install Cloud Antivirus running at the same time as lesser known AV programs such as Spyware Doctor Antivirus. In these cases you might experience slowness or slugginesh of the Operating System. To resolve this issue simply uninstall one of the two AV programs.

No Pandas on my systems!

No its not.  Good point.

Anyway I have no reason to try it.  avast! AIS 7 on W8-CP x64 works great alongside SAS Pro and IMF Pro. :) :)  Malwarebytes still can't find any malware in its obligatory? week end on-demand scan.  If Malwarebytes can't find anything then your system must be pretty clean.  LOL ;D

Many people claim Panda can with Avast with no problems.  That maybe the case with the newer version of Panda.  I don't know how it was with the older versions since I am not familiar with the others.  But during the installation I did notice nothing was mentioned about uninstalling Avast.  Even while testing it against malware samples the two seem to stay out each others way.  Now I can't say for sure that Panda really is compatible with Avast.  Panda doesn't state on their site about using it with another.  If any thing take it with a grain of salt.

Panda sucks with no internet, avast has behavior etc etc

Don't you just love when a member makes a comment that another anti virus is better than Avast!!!! Trying to get a rise from everyone else!!!! Like the question was asked why are you here?????  You find one in every forum.
Let me say this.............I have used Avast since it came on the market. IMHO its top notch to say the least!!! If not the best. Avast has ran flawless on my pc's and has protected my computer from day one. Hats off to a outsanding software and organization!!!!! :) :)
