As usual, leave it to me to bring up the weird question, right?  ;)

As everyone's probably noticed, the subject-line (I've slightly trimmed it) periodically appears as the current "news" item in the front-page header, and the number never changes.

Seems like an unusual number to be "more than".  Other than it's 2/9 of a million (rounded), what if anything is its significance?
Intel Atom D2700, 2 gig RAM, Win 7 x64 SP1 & IE-11, Firefox 51.0
