No more "Virus Chest" menu in settings...
« on: August 04, 2015, 06:33:54 PM »
Hello,
With my latest release of Avast free edition, I couldn't find the menu to manage the virus chest as it's well explain on the Avast web site FAQ... It seems that this menu has been completely removed!...
I'd like to use it as described by the FAQ procedure to manually ADD two UNDETECTED trojans and use this possibility to send them to the Avast Lab... No way, no more menu...
What could I do to submit these undetected threats?
(Just to confirm that they are well detected by the VirusTotal web site engines as mso packed macro embedded in xls or doc files recently received by e-mail)
Regards

On the main page right click the series of small lines
Select Virus Chest
And there it is readily accessible :)

Thanks a lot,
Please could you update the FAQ accordingly?
3 files submitted, working without problem.
Kind regards.
