Hey all,
I got an error message from windows telling me avast was turned off. I tried pressing the link in the message to reactivate but this did nothing, when i opened up avast it looked as if everything was working normally, avast programmes were still appearing in task manager. Anyway I ran a virus scan (and a malwarebytes scan) both of which showed up nothing. I then repaired avast, which has removed the message from the little "solve pc issues" icon on the tool bar (windows 7). Everything seems to be back to normal, I just wondered if anyone else had had a similar problem?
