Avast doesn't like uTorrent, no matter what I do.

Hey guys. Look, I have tried everything I possibly know of to make Avast leave uTorrent alone, but it doesn't. I have tried deactivating the various shields that may interfere, which didn't help. I've tried setting uTorrent as an exception in all shields, but still no help.

I don't wanna abandon avast, since it's the best damn free antivirus on the Internet, but I'm gonna have to if this doesn't clear up. It seems to wanna scan every single packet sent and received from uTorrent, and it doesn't matter what I do. It's nothing wrong with uTorrent, it's flawless and reliable, but Avast has changed in behavior. It did work many months ago but the problem persists.

What to do? Currently, the only thing that does help is completely uninstalling Avast, but I'd hate to have to do that as a last resort.

EDIT: Also, Avast seems to stall internet reconnections, and that is especially noticable after bootup from hibernation.

If it's unchecked there shouldn't be any problems.

Utorrent is working perfectly fine here and all P2P options are default except for me including PUPs.

I completely uninstalled Avast, then reinstalled it and then set all the options again. I now made sure to add utorrent as an exception anywhere, from all sorts of avast scans. I also made sure that annoying P2P uTorrent box is unchecked as it should be and NOW things seem fine,

I reach the download speeds as I expected I'd reach and all is well. No freezes or anything. I wonder what did it? Anywho, I'm glad it's fixed and I suppose a thank you is in order to you for helping me.

You shouldn't need to place any exceptions anyware for utorrent, excluding it is only leaving you unprotected. Best to leave the P2P settings as default and there should be no problems.
