If I remember correctly didn't avast build in a "universal" fix for both FF and Chrome?
Script Shield works on and off with both!  ???

I agree with tgell it's more about competition and not about quality.   ???

Do it right the first time and you don't have to do it again. That is what betas are for.  :)

Hello Para-Noid. I think you were referring to Jim1cor13's post regarding competition between browsers but I agree. I also think that if avast's script shield gets broken every 6 weeks when a new build of firefox or Chrome comes out, avast might as well get rid of script shield Forgot about IE  ;). And, I don't see Behavioral Shield doing all that much either. Maybe avast should just wrap whatever Behavioral Shield is into one of the other shields.

WTF!? It scanned 214 scripts through Firefox. But now it doesn't scan a single more even if i open Youtube or bunch of forums. Seriously, what the hell?

The only way this works right know is if you run F F in the avast sandbox for some reason.

However, Firefox ESR (extended support release) works with scriptshield, because Firefox ESR is based on Firefox 10, just with security updates.

Can't confirm this. (See Reply #1)
