I looked at the exper settings and saw that the "avastcfg://avast5/Common/ActionOnPackedFile" its stated on: onlyfile

onlyfile   -   try to remove only packed file from archive. if fails - do nothing
filearchive -  try to remove only packed file from archive. if fails - remove the whole containing archive
wholearchive - always remove the whole containing archive

Thank you GSRX!

Like GSRX explains this one setting. It would be good that we can do all settings.

Igor,

I don't hace a seperate page for that? I have a page where I can enable or disable shields but I cannot make specific settings there. Its just if its on or off.

Example. We have clients with Outlook 2003 talking to an Exchange 2010 server. When the standard mail shield is active all HTML mail is emptied when send out. So I used expert settings to disable the outgoing mail setting.

I can remove it from my local client to test a setting but not on the admin console ?

Hey GSRX I did change that setting but that is in the expert settings and not in the standard admin console. And as Igor sayd that we shouldn't use the expert settings so I am wondering what he can give us to chance this setting.

Hi Robokill, how many client you have? if you need more detail application try the AEA (last version is call ADNM) but it was just an RC not release yet.
AEA or Avast Enterprise Administration was more powerful and have an advance setting.

This version is waiting by all avast business users admin, hope avast can release this version as soon as.

But even if this is changed when can we expect a release. Not an RC as we are in production off course
