question about the anti-theft, please help me!
« on: May 20, 2012, 10:55:20 PM »
i had HTC rhyme up until 5 days ago (thats when my device was stolen). the theft closed the phone immediately and i blocked the sim card. i guess there is no internet connection.
i had avast installed on it but i never registered up until now. is there any chance that i could activate avast anti-theft? or do anything else to stop that m**f***a!@#$%^f*&^%$*s*^$)* theft?

Sorry, if the thief exchanged the SIM for another one and avast! Anti-Theft isn't activated, there is probably no chance of locating the device.

Buy another phone and install avast! antitheft since from the beginning.

Or Lookout Mobile Security's app Plan B:)

If the phone still is connected to Google/Gmail (+ has autosync and data on) it will keep tracking the phone and email it to the users Gmail.

I bet Avast could do it;)
