For the last couple of years, I've been running a complete Avast virus check every day, and once a week, i use TFC to sweep out anything unnecessary that my computer has accumulated. Something happened today that has never happened before. My Avast check determined that my TFC was infected and moved the desktop icon into the virus chest. Is this a recent development? Any information would be helpful.
Incidentally, my computer runs on Windows XP, and I generally us Google Chrome for browsing.
