Avast AEA Issues
« on: June 06, 2012, 05:39:18 AM »
Hi All,

I couldn't find these issues listed in a topic already, so I created a new one.

Issue #1: Installed AEA but I'm unable to load my existing BP license files (license.avastlic).  If I rename them to the license.dat format they also give me a "License file is not valid" message. Anyone else having this issue?

Issue #2: Might be more of a "feature request". You can't create Computer Groups with the same name, even if they are nested inside different Computer Groups.  This seems silly.  It makes sense to create a group hierarchy such as; <Location1>-<Laptops>, <Location2>-<Laptops> OR <Laptops>-<Location1>, <DesktopPCs>-<Location1>.  Is it just me?

1 - Please contact our support, they will send you a new licence file.

2 - Yes it works as you described. I will talk about it with DEV team guys, whether we can change it or not.
